Featuring a beautiful and detailed pattern titled CARRARA, platter dates around 1880-1890s when this pattern was produced by an assortment of potteries. Bearing the name in a lovely cartouche, it is incised with a large Anchor and banner, the numbers "10" "94", and the name GUSTAFSBERG, a manufacturer operating out of Stockholm, Sweden from 1827 on. Wide border is decorated with alternating floral cartouches and country scenes accented with transfer ribbing and scrollwork - center depicts a beautiful scene of two women seated on an open terrace - pattern name is Carrara. In excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, stains, repairs or discoloration - very fine age crazing that does not detract - color is a lovely lavender/purple/mulberry - so pretty and feminine!
