A lovely springtime Otherworld Planet by Josh Simpson, clear glass surrounds a scenery of vivid colours and various groupings of cane made for 2008. This Otherworld planet is playful and subtle at the same time. The composition is made up of bright chunky groups with gold glittered blue paths for wondering throughout. It gives me an idea of what Josh Simpson might go through considering the growth and cultivation of his designs when he like every artist asks himself should I stop here or keep going? With this one he stopped leaving his terrain, a perfect combination of growth and full maturity- where blossoms of colour had burst without warning then everything full stopped!! This is clearly a summer time jewel. This planet comes with a one inch acrylic cube with a dimple to safely set your planet upon. The planet is 2.25†It is signed JS08 on the bottom of the planet.
