A rare Danish porcelain match box holder stand (tray). It is the classic blue & white "Blue Lace Plain" pattern. This will look great on your mantle. It measures about 5" (12.5 cm.) in diameter & holds a 3/4" (2 cm.) x 1 1/4" (3 cm.) box of matches. It is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or stains. Bid now! It has the green Royal Copenhagen crown "DANMARK" logo over three wavy blue lines & numbered "1/136" & a decorator's mark. This mark was used 1894-1900.
