Albion Antiek Royal Winton Cookie Jar Sampler Chintz Pelham This listing is for a lovely vintage chintz pottery cookie jar (biscuit barrel), although this piece carries no makers name it was almost certainly made by Royal Winton. The pattern name "Sampler" is printed on the base (this pattern is also known as Pelham) and it has a nice green trim along the base edge. Measuring 7" high (to top of finial) this piece is in perfect condition with no chips, no cracks and no repairs. The only thing that I can find are a few tiny flakes of the colored trim along the base (see close-up picture) but that is really not very detracting. The chrome lid and mounts are slightly tarnished but still in fine condition. Please excuse any glares (white patches) that you may see in the pictures, these are caused by reflections of light on the glaze and are not on the actual object itself. Please note that I am located in the Netherlands (Holland) which means that this item will be shipped from Europe. I ship worldwide and make sure all purchases are shipped within 24 hours of payment, with the exception of weekends (payments received on Fridays or weekends will ship on the following Monday). Items shipped to the USA and other countries outside Europe normally take 7-10 days to arrive, ocassionally it can take a bit longer.
