I don't know much about pottery but I will try to explain the best I can. First of all i know its a stoneware piece. It is marked at the bottom side of the vase. It is hard to make out but it looks like a small critter paw print. ???? I tried doing some quick research but couldn't find this mark. I bought it in the seagrove NC area and I am just guessing it is from one of the 100's of potters there. It has a real nice glaze it looks black but when you look at it in the light you see some blues in it. It also has some neat snake handles on it. It also has an oversize lid on it. Again ???. It stands about 14" tall. It is in excellent condition. I bought it because I liked it. I figured I would try it on here once then if it didn't sell I will just put it in my China cabinet. If anyone has any info for me please pass it along it will be appreciated. After some good information from some people on Ebay. I was told the name of Daniel Bair of Forest City NC. Bair's Den pottery. I did alittle research on this and I too believe this is the maker of this pot. In fact i wouold say 99% sure. Our perfered payment is Paypal but we will accept check or money order. Item will not be shipped till check clears. We now offer cheaper shipping alternatives like parcel post. We however do not recommend these and will not guarantee (unless insured) there condition of delivery. We recommend Priority Mail which is usually only $1 more. Insurance is not required but highly recommended. We charge a $1 handeling fee to try to off set the very high shipping products. We do not set the shipping prices the Post Office or others carriers do that. Please do not complain about shipping. All our packages are well packed and knock on wood haven't had one break yet. We do ship to our international buyers but we only ship Priority International. This is one of the only reliable services and can be tracked online. Email us for price quote. We are happy to combine shipping . PLEASE READ ALL THE DETAILS OF THIS AUCTIONS. THERE ARE ALOT OF PEOPLE NOT READING THE DESCRIPTIONS!!! We try to describe our items to the best of our abilities. However we do miss some things due to the volume of business we do. If you find that you are not satisfied with the product due to it not being as described, you can return it, the same we sent it, for a full refund. On our Carnival glass, these always have straw marks and slight imperfections. I have yet to see a truely perfect one. We will try to point out all of these to the best of our abilities. If you purchase insurance (which is always recommended) and the item arrives damaged, you must keep all the shipping material and the box and take it to your local post office for a claim. If you do not wish to do this return the item with all the original packing and box and we will take care of it. (Pictures help a lot). We will refund you the purchase when the post office refunds us. This can take up to 60 days. We try to pack everything carefully but sometimes it is out of our control. If you do not purchase insurance and it is damaged in route we will not be responsible. As you can see by our feedback we try our very best to make this an enjoyable purchase for both you and us. Communication is the best form of resolving problems. We always leave feedback once feedback is received for us. You can return your item within 7 Days of Recipt for a refund if the item is not as described. Alot of people are returning just becuase they paid to much or they decided they don't want it. This is costing us alot of money. We do make mistakes in listing so if it was not as described that is our fault and we will refund you. We buy mostly from estate auctions. we don't believe in making a huge profit off every item. We believe in moving product. Alot of times auctions are started lower than what we paid for the item. we believe in passing the good deal off to you. You can email us directly at anytime at myebay@triad.rr.com. We will try to get back to you as soon as possible. On Oct-19-08 at 17:47:01 PDT, seller added the following information: Use the FREE Counters 1 million sellers do - Vendio!
