Robinson Ransbottom Cattail Motif Brush McCoy Style Jardiniere & Pedestal Majolica - Art Pottery Up for auction is a wonderful and very large Jardiniere & Pedestal. The jardiniere is impressed with green and brown cattails - just like mother nature produces. The piece consists of blended (majolica) colors of green and brown. The piece was manufactured in the 1940's by Robinson Ransbottom who was a competitor of the Brush / McCoy pottery companies. Both pieces are in excellent condition with no cracks or chips - absolutely great. There are some rough manufacturing marks on the bottom, some crazing and the typical glaze marks and pops. The two pieces stand in total a little over 21". The jardinere has a diameter of about 8 1/2" and stands about 8" high while the pedestal stands about 13". These two pieces are exact matches and belong together. No marriages here. They are in great condition and just a beautiful piece.
