Rose Tapestry Porcelain Partial Set Up for auction is a rare set of pieces of Rose Tapestry porcelain. It would include 1 pink colored sugar service, 2 pink colored cups and saucers, 2 green colored cup and saucers and one loose extra green saucer. Rose Tapestry was made by the Royal Bayreuth factory in the late 1800's (reference page 631 Kovels' Antiques & Collectables 2000 price list). Condition: One green cup has two hairlines showing on the inside near the handle. One pink cup and saucer set is either discolored by the sun or is intentionally another shade of pink or salmon. Most rims and handles on all pieces have the gold trim worn but each piece has the Rose Tapestry emblem marked well. I didn't see any edge nicks on the pieces except on the sugar piece where the lid has many around the edge from what appears to be dropping it. The sugar set has a glaze pop on the bottom also. Judging from the book reference this is a rare antique set. If you have others then this would be a great addition to them. The book price is very high on these but I'm willing to let them go for a lot less here on eBay. Please feel free to ask questions and good luck! Check out my other items>!
