Magnificent bulldog made by Rosenthal. This is not the more common, smaller dog normally seen for sale. This is a BIG boy- about 4 3/4" high x 7 1/2" long. I've shown a photo with his little brother so you can see the difference, this auction is for the big dog only. Marked on the bottom with the green Rosenthal hallmark, and says Rosenthal GERMANY KUNSTABTEILUNG SELB handgemalt. This hallmark was used in the 1946, so it is an OLD one. Excellent condition, no chips, cracks or crazing. White spots are from light reflections. I have seen this dog sell as high as $700 on ebay.
