Studiojoe Store Royal Copenhagen HC Andersen Plate, Little Match Girl a.imagelink {color:#FFFFFF;} a:hover.imagelink {color:#FFFFFF;} a:visited.imagelink {color:#666666;} a.imagelink img.auctionimage { border: 2px solid #FFFFFF; } a:visited.imagelink img.auctionimage { border: 2px solid #666666; } Description:Up for auction is a great little blue and white dish measuring 3-1/4" in diameter and decorated with a scene from the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale "Den Lille Pige Med Svovlstikkerne," which translates roughly to "The Little Match Girl."  The plate is marked as shown in the images and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or damage. And now the fine print:  Domestic shipping and packing is included in the price.  I may not use priority mail but I will use a reputable shipper (either the post office, Fedex, or UPS) and the most economical shipping available (the high bidder can request and pay the difference for priority shipping).  Insurance is extra and can be figured using the highest bid and checking with the shipping websites as I charge exactly what it costs me to insure a package.  International shipping is extra but I will give a credit for the domestic shipping.  I prefer Priority International for overseas shipping, however I will ship 1st Class with the understanding that tracking a package overseas is for the most part futile and I cannot be responsible for lost, uninsured shipments.  One more thing:  I have a 9-to-5 job and do this as a hobby.  Consequently, it takes me a day or so to calculate shipping costs and provide an invoice.  Don't worry, the invoices always come, but I don't have an automatic invoice thingy to fire off payment demands immediately after the auction ends.  I must take your shipping address and calculate exact shipping since I don't charge an exorbitant blanket shipping fee, and so it takes a little time to gather information.  By the same token I have no illusions that this auction is at the top of anyone's priority list, and I understand that most people lead lives as busy as mine.  Therefore I am not going to demand payment within a few days, I only ask that you contact me to let me know what is going on and if payment is going to be delayed for any reason I will cut you as much slack as possible.  I don't want to lose your bid because you will be away from home when the auction ends and are afraid of repercussions for not paying within two days.  I don't sell on eBay to make my life or anyone else's more difficult.  There are limits, of course, but if you treat me the way you would like to be treated we will get along famously.  I have been selling on eBay for over 11 years and I have built my feedback up slowly and steadily by doing my best to sell items for a healthy price, package them properly, ship them quickly and in general deal fairly and honestly with buyers.  That is what I hope to accomplish for each auction and it has served me well so far. Thanks for looking, and good luck!
