It doesn't look like it's ever been used. I couldn't find a knife mark. The hand gilding looks like it was done yesterday. The replacement value is over $1,600. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT FEEDBACK Because of the way eBay's feed-back page is designed, many buyers are not aware than anything less than a 5-star DSR rating on a transaction lowers a seller's visibility on eBay and increases their eBay fees. Even though the feedback page clearly states that a "4" is for good service, it IS NOT GOOD for hard-working sellers! Powersellers must maintain a 4.8 DSR in every category. If you feel that you've gotten a quality item at a fair price, that I've sent you an invoice in a timely fashion, that my shipping charges are never more and often less than the shipping calculator estimates, that I carefully wrap and ship your item(s) within one business day of receipt of your payment, for which I've thanked you and sent you tracking information, I ask that you please give me a 5-star feedback, which I will immediately return. Thanks! SHIPPING AND HANDLING FEES The last change in postal rates resulted in a HUGE increase in sending priority mail boxes out of zone, especially in boxes that are larger than a #7 box. Please use the postage calculator to determine what your shipping costs will be. If insurance is required on an item, that amount will be included in the estimate, as will handling fees. I charge $1.50 to pack #4 priority mail and small flat rate boxes and $2.00 to pack a #7 box and large flat rate box. If I must purchase a special box to ship your item, I will pass that cost on to you. I can assure you this only helps to defray the ever-increasing cost of the petroleum-based materials I use to pack your item extremely well. In 2007 my cost of packing materials exceeded my handling fees by $987 and did not take into account my time. My careful packing with quality products ensures your items will arrive safe and sound. I am happy to combine shipping. Sorry, but Paypal requires I use signed delivery confirmation on items over $250. I do that at my expense. I ship daily and provide next day shipping on items paid for by 9:00 p.m. E.S.T. I ship USPS Priority Mail, unless an item is too large then I'll happily offer parcel post or UPS. INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS I no longer ship first class unless it will fit into an envelope because I cannot confirm delivery, track it or insure it. Priority mail normally will cover the cost of insuring an item. Additional insurance is available. IT IS AGAINST THE LAW TO FALSIFY CUSTOMS FORMS, SO PLEASE DO NOT ASK ME TO SEND IT AS A GIFT. INVOICING AND PAYMENT By eBay policy effective October 2008, the only form of payment accepted is Paypal. If you are buying multiple items, please do not submit a Paypal payment until I've sent you a combined invoice. PLEASE ADJUST YOUR SPAM BLOCKER TO ACCEPT EBAY COMMUNICATIONS, so that I can invoice you through eBay, which I will do within 24 hours. The invoice will be sent to the email address you have provided to eBay. Payment by Paypal is expected within 48 hours, unless prior arrangement has been made. Upon notification of your payment, I will contact you, either through or in response to your Paypal payment to inform you of your shipping date. You will also receive a delivery confirmation number via paypal. Please note that Paypal states that items paid for by e-check (which is the automatic default for buyers who don't have a balance in their Paypal account) should not be shipped until the transaction has cleared, which normally takes 3-4 business days. If you want your item shipped next day, please make sure you have not selected to send an e-check.
